C1 (Chief's Vehicle) is a 2003 Ford Expedition built by Bobby Jones Ford of Augusta, GA. It has a 5.4L Triton V8 engine and a 4-speed automatic transmission. This unit has a Truck Vault Command Center mounted in the back. C1 is assigned to our career Chief, whether on duty or off, and responds to any incident within our district.
Apparatus Inventory
Engine 746 is a 1996 Pierce pumper/tanker mounted on a Freightliner chassis. It has a Cummins 300 diesel engine and an Allison 5-speed automatic transmission. This unit has a 1000 GPM Waterous pump and carries 1000 gallons of water with a foam tank that holds 20 gallons of foam. This unit also has a deluge gun. Engine 746 is the first out apparatus from Station 2 on all incidents in the eastern part of our district except for wildland fires.


Rescue 747 is a 2000 Pierce mounted on a Freightliner chassis, with a Cummins 300 diesel engine and an Allison 5-speed automatic transmission. This unit is equipped with a generator that powers an electric line reel and an electric-powered hydraulic pump, which in turn powers two hydraulic line reels. Also, an onboard air compressor delivers air to an air line reel. This unit carries an extensive list of equipment used for vehicle, farm and machinery extrication. Rescue 747 is the second out apparatus on all rescue incidents in the district, responding with a first out engine from either Station 1 or Station 2.

Brush Truck 748 is a 1995 Dodge Ram 3500 4X4 built by Anchor-Richey EVS. It has a Cummins turbo diesel engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The skid unit is equipped with a 200 GPM Hale pump powered by a Briggs & Stratton 18 hp engine, 300 gallon water tank, 10 gallon Class A foam tank, a Blizzard-Wizard foam inductor and a booster reel mounted on top. This unit also has a 1.5 in. pre-connect line and 1 in. "forest service" line. Brush Truck 748 is the first out apparatus from Station 2 on all wildland fires in the eastern part of our district.

is a 1989 Pierce Arrow pumper/tanker with a Cummins 320 diesel engine and an
Eaton Fuller Roadranger 10-speed manual transmission. It has a 1000 GPM
Waterous pump and carries 1000 gallons of water. This unit also has a deluge
gun and hose reel. Engine 749 is the second out apparatus from Station 2
on all fire incidents in the eastern part of our district. This unit also responds to mutual aid requests.

This unit also has a deluge gun, hydraulic ladder rack and hydraulic-driven generator with cord reel. Engine 744 is the first out apparatus from Station 1 on all incidents in the western part of our district except for wildland fires.
